Flightradar24.com shows live air traffic from different parts of the world. The technology used to receive flight information from aircraft is called ADS-B. This means that Flightradar24.com can only show information from aircraft equipped with ADS-B transponders. Today about 76% of the passenger aircraft and 44% of general aviation aircraft have them installed, but only a small number of military aircraft.
